“K” News for March

Thank you so much for your cooperation with the Book Fair, the candy sale and collecting those much-needed
box tops. We are truly appreciative of all of you do to help St. Dominic School.

Book-It

Congratulations to all who have completed the requirements for the last five months. Just one more month to
completion of this very improtant program!

Car Line

Please remember to place the sign with your family on the dashboard. It maked it so much easier to identify your
car.

Library Cards

The librarian from the Torresdale Branch delivered library cards to our classrooms last week. She also told the
children that if they already had a library card and showed it o her at the library, she woul give them a free
coloring book.

Parent Helperts

Volunteers are always needed. If you have not had the oppurtunity to volunteer in your child’s classroom, please
consider it for the second semester. Cooridantors of parent.volunteers - Rm. 106, Mrs. Gramlich (215-338-
7995),Rm. 110, Mrs. Kretsch (215-333-0520).

Preparing for School

Several children each day need to use the bathroom as soon as they come into school. We realize that young
children do need to use the bathroom frequently but we ask that you make sure taht your child uses the bathroom
as part of their preparation for school before they leave the house.

Lent

As part of our preparation for the Easter season, you will find p.116-117 from your child’s religion book in his/her
folder. This is a family project. It does not need to be returned to school. It does not need to be returned to
school. Please encourage your child to some extra kind things, say some extar prayers, or do some extra jobs
