LENT
Once again we are called upon to engage in a season of
prayer, fasting, learning and giving. Our church offers us several "helps" as we attempt to develop a plan for ourselves/our family. Several of you have signed up for the family component to Disciples in Mission Program, this should be a great tool to aid with the understanding and living out of the gospel message. In April we well conduct a ONE-CAN- MEAL COLLECTION providing the opportunity for us to reach out to those in-need. I have been encouraging the children to put at the top of their Lenten plan - attendance at Mass on Sunday. Perhaps, with your help we can all focus on the importance of Mass attendance - what a great example for our children. Let us pray for one another as we strive to grow closer to the Lord through prayer, fasting, learning, and giving.
